Tabitha Ministry

At Joppa there was a certain disciple named Tabitha, which is translated Dorcas. This woman was characterized by good works and charitable deeds. Acts 9:36

As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God… distributing to the needy of the saints, given to hospitality… 1 Pet. 4:10; Rom. 12:13

Calvary Chapel’s Tabitha Ministry is designed to bless those in our fellowship during times of difficulty by providing meals. This includes events such as:

Illness
Surgery recovery
Complications due to childbirth
Death of a loved one

We believe the church should, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Gal.6:2
