Equipping Ministry

And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. Acts 2:42

And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. Eph. 4:11

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17

But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him. Mark 16:6

I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. John 15:5

Equipping Ministry

In Ephesians 4:11-12 we’re told: And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.

It is very important for the church to be equipped to serve other members in the Body of Christ. The following will help accomplish this goal:

Offering intermittent, evening classes which teach on various subjects
Recommended resources for spiritual education and growth
One-on-one or small group discipleship opportunities
